Ministries

Both on a personal and organizational level, our goal is to “reach out” and share the Gospel with every man, woman, boy and girl.  We call this the “Great Commission of the Bible” and it is the core of every true Bible-believing church to share the Gospel with everyone both locally and around the world.

We challenge all those who attend VSIBC to be a personal witness of the Gospel to those around them.  In helping to achieve this goal, we schedule certain times in which we collectively saturate our local neighborhoods with Gospel materials and personal invite folks to visit VSIBC.

Victory Springs loves the Bus Ministry!  Every Sunday, our pastor drives our shuttle bus to pick up boys and girls, teens and adults, so that they may have a way to church.  We currently only have one bus route that reaches from CR 778 in Fort White to downtown High Springs.  If you live in this corresponding area and would like to ride our bus to church, please contact us to arrange a pick-up time!  Our future goal is to expand our bus ministry with a second bus route that reaches into the Alachua area.

Little Springs is what we call our Nursery ministry and it is a vital part of VSIBC. That’s why we have a nursery for every service!  Infants to 3-years old’s are welcomed into our first-class nursery!  Our nurseries are not just a babysitting service.  Every child, no matter how young, is a sponge that is constantly learning from everything around them.  For this reason, expect to find our nursery workers quoting Bible verses, singing children’s songs and even telling simple Bible stories to the children in the nursery.

All of our nursery workers have completed a background check for the safety of our children.  Safety is not an option here at VSIBC, it is our priority!  For this reason, each nursery worker is required to complete and pass an online First-Aid Course before working in the nursery.

Children’s Church is held during the Sunday Morning service for ages 4-12!  Our workers invest time in developing lessons, games, and a weekly theme to capture the attention of the children.  They are taught songs and memory verses to aid in their spiritual growth.  Get ready for some fun in Children’s Church!

Teaching teens to have victory in life is a vital element of our teen group.  We wish to instill a heart for God within our teenagers and show them how valuable a God-led life is.  Monthly activities, as well as camps and outings are just part of fun-filled schedule for this upcoming generation.  Our goal is to push them to God through this incredible ministry-Victorious Teens!

Headed up by our Pastor’s wife, Mrs. Kami, the Kindred Hearts Ladies Fellowship is a very active ministry!  Outings, Book Studies, Trips, Fellowships…you name it!  God has used this ministry to knit the hearts of our ladies at VSIBC both in fellowship and spiritual growth!

Just like David’s Mighty Men of the Bible, we want to be the kind of men that not only do great things for God but become great men of faith and family!  The goal of this ministry is to create a love for God and create a bond of brotherhood within the hearts of the men at VSIBC!  Our men like 3 things: Fellowship, Food, and Fun.  For this reason, Men’s Bible studies, skeet shoots, cookouts, prayer breakfasts and more are some of our featured activities for our “Mighty Men”.

PRINGLES is VSIBC’s singles ministry for those who have graduated high school up to age 30.  We have monthly activities, as well as regular times of fellowship and fun. Our goal is to help these singles to develop into whatever God wants them to be for their future, as a Christian and/or a spouse. Where did the title come from you may ask?  In a joking fashion, the title is an acronym for “People Realizing It Normally Gets Lonely Except Sundays”.

OWLS (Older, Wiser, Loving Saints) is VSIBC’s senior saints ministry.  Run by Bro. Dave and Mrs. Margaret Fiyak, this ministry focuses on ministering to the older members and visitors of VSIBC.  With activties, visits, and fellowship, this group is a a great blessing to our church!

VSIBC’s music ministry has many ways to serve: instrumentals, vocal groups, and ensembles.  But one of our favorites is the choir!  We meet for weekly practices on Sunday afternoons and do our best to glorify God through solid, Biblical music.  The choir is a vital element of music ministry and we are looking forward to continued growth!
